The legendary summer boat party is returning to Prague! Enjoy a four-hour cruise on the Vltava River with the sunset over the historic city center, an exclusive DJ set by Matamar on the upper deck, and a second stage on the lower deck. The combination of electronic music, dancing, and a unique atmosphere on the waves of the Vltava River promises an unforgettable summer evening, which you can also enjoy in the VIP zone with deck chairs and a fast bar.

On July 11, Fab Festival 2025 will transform the Prague Exhibition Grounds into a center of creativity, technology, and modern education for young and old alike. Visitors can look forward to FabLab mobile workshops, 3D printing, workshops, interactive installations from the Signal Festival, the Prusa Zone with news from the world of 3D printing, and discussions on the connection between digital production and art. The popular open-air festival Bohemia Jazz Fest 2025 brings world-class jazz performed by Czech and international artists free of charge. The summer atmosphere, historic setting, and top-notch music make this event an ideal cultural experience for all jazz lovers.

The oldest and largest open-air theater festival dedicated to the works of William Shakespeare returns to Prague, offering magical evenings under the open sky against the backdrop of Prague Castle and Malostranské náměstí. You can look forward to the premiere of Othello, the new production of The Taming of the Shrew, as well as proven classics such as Macbeth, Twelfth Night, and The Merry Wives of Windsor. Summer Techno Boat is setting sail again! On Saturday, July 19, the deck of the Tyrš steamboat on Rašínovo nábřeží will resound with a healthy dose of techno and electronic music performed by top DJs from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. You can look forward to an unforgettable cruise with views of summertime Prague, an energetic lineup including DJ Toky, Luccy, and Subgate b2b B.One.K, and the unique atmosphere of an open-air club on the waves of the Vltava River.

From July 3 to 6, Republic Square will be filled with the colors, flavors, and rhythms of Latin America thanks to the Sabor Latino Prague 2025 festival. You can look forward to a wide range of exotic cuisine, Cuban cocktails, live music, dance workshops, and DJ parties with salsa, bachata, cumbia, and Brazilian carnival melodies. There will also be stalls selling handmade jewelry, talismans, and traditional textiles. Come and enjoy the authentic atmosphere of Latin American markets and sway your hips to the rhythm of summer – admission is free.

The 2025 Summer Festival of Early Music will take place in Prague from July 17 to August 5, 2025. It is the largest and longest-running early music festival in the Czech Republic. This year’s edition, subtitled Familia, will focus on musical families, family ties, and stories that have shaped European musical history. Leading ensembles from across Europe will perform music from the Middle Ages to the High Baroque, including lesser-known instruments such as the vihuela, organetto, fidula, and viola da gamba. The program will also feature Baroque theater, dance, and concerts in historic venues in Prague, such as the Lobkowicz Palace, Břevnov Monastery, and churches in the Lesser Town. Admission ranges from CZK 700 to CZK 1,100.

The Prague Open Air 2025 festival, running from June 17 to September 20, will bring a series of open-air concerts to three iconic venues – Areál7 in Holešovice, Občanská plovárna in Malá Strana, and Terasa Smíchov. You can look forward to more than 29 concerts across genres from indie and folk to rock, punk, and electronic music. Performers will include Horkýže Slíže, Visací Zámek, Tomáš Klus, Čechomor, Pražský Výběr, and many others. Great music, a summer atmosphere, and unforgettable evenings under the open sky right in the heart of Prague.

From July 17 to 19, Prague’s Old Town will be filled with dozens of folk ensembles from around the world, bringing a colorful mix of traditional music, dance, and colorful costumes. Folk traditions from Europe, Asia, and Africa will come to life on outdoor stages, and visitors can look forward to authentic performances and demonstrations of craftsmanship. The highlight of the festival will be a traditional parade of all the ensembles through the historic center, transforming Prague into a colorful celebration of world folklore. Admission is free.

The Za dveřmi Festival returns to the streets and public spaces of Prague from July 9 to 15, transforming them into an open stage full of new circus, acrobatics, movement theater, and puppet shows for a week. You can look forward to international stars such as Compagnie Lucamoros from France and Federico Menini from Argentina, as well as local favorites such as Bratři v tricku and V.O.S.A. Theatre. There will also be themed days – Puppet Day with a festive parade and Family Day full of workshops and entertainment. The festival offers a rich program at venues such as Holešovice Market, Mariánské Square, and Štvanice Island – all free of charge.
