1. Aureole

A heavenly gourmet experience. If you are looking for a truly extraordinary gastronomic experience, then simply have breakfast at 109 metres. The Aureole restaurant offers a truly heavenly gourmet experience, as it is located on the 27th floor of the City Tower skyscraper in Pankrác. The dishes are inspired by modern gastronomy and served from 8:00 am during the week and from 11:00 am during the weekend.

Aureole

2. Orient cafe

If you want to enjoy breakfast in a truly unusual setting, then head to a café called Orient, the only cubist café in the world. You’ll find it in the House of the Black Mother of God. It opens its doors at 9:00 am on weekdays and an hour later on weekends.

3. Ginger & Fred restaurant

Ginger & Fred restaurant in the Dancing House opens at 7:00 am every day. Its menu changes 4 times a year and includes daily specials or a wide selection of sorbets and ice creams.

4. Coda Restaurant

Another safe bet is the interior and terrace of Coda Restaurant with a beautiful view of Prague. They offer delicious breakfast from 7:00 am. Each menu is sourced from the kitchen of chef David Šašek, who is well-known among gastronomy lovers for his love of homemade ingredients from small farms and farmers’ markets.

5. La Bohème Café

If you want to enjoy friendly service and perfectly prepared coffee of the highest quality during breakfast, visit La Bohème Café in Vinohrady. Of course, you can also buy coffee to go. During the week, you can have breakfast here from 8:30 am, while on the weekend it is more of a late breakfast, starting at 10:00 am.

6. Café Place

If you prefer a rather sweet breakfast, accompanied by a doubleshot coffee for a proper morning kick, then we have a tip for you. You’ll find Café Místo in Prague’s Dejvice district with cakes and all other pastries from its own bakery. You can also enjoy original coffee cocktails from the local top barista Ondřej Hurtík. You can have breakfast here from 9:00 on weekdays and an hour later on weekends.

7. Café & Restaurant Slavia

We could hardly find a greater symbol of the Czech café industry than Café & Restaurant Slavia, famous also thanks to several films. Many celebrities have come here for breakfast from 8:00 am (9:00 am on weekends), and you can be one of them. In addition, from here you will have a wonderful view of Hradčany and the National Theatre building.

8. Café Louvre

Café of famous personalities. Do you know which café Albert Einstein, the two Čapek brothers or Franz Kafka liked to visit? We’ll tell you it’s Café Louvre, aka the café of celebrities. It stands out for its very wide range of breakfasts, which are available from 8:00 am (an hour later on weekends). It’s also a great place to play board games, and you get the daily newspaper as a bonus.

9. Café Savoy

Café Savoy on Vítězná is one of the cafés that focuses on a really rich breakfast offer. You’ll find it right by the Vltava River and you’ll especially enjoy its elegant wooden and marble interior. Since the café was founded in 1893, all its furnishings is in the Art Nouveau style and large windows give you a wonderful view of the surroundings.

Kalina Kampa  for brunch. Do you like to sleep longer in the morning and only get out of bed for breakfast around 10am? Then you will definitely be interested in the perfect bistro Kalina Kampa. You can find it right in Kampa and the emphasis is on using honest and local ingredients. It also pleases with its tasteful and simple interior.
