1. Rathaus Film Festival

The film festival in front of Vienna’s City Hall has been a symbol of summer and the city itself for many years. This year, a program has been put together for all fans of great cinema. Come and enjoy Vienna’s unique blend of culture, cuisine, and flair. Europe’s largest cultural and culinary festival returns to the heart of Vienna from July 4th to September 7th, 2026. 2. Ottakringer Beer Festival

Even though our German neighbor is the world’s most famous beer country, the Austrian beer scene shouldn’t be underestimated! The Ottakringer Beer Festival is the perfect introduction to the local scene and a super cool event with street food, live music, beer crate singing, a pub quiz, and even… beer yoga. In the beer garden of the Ottakringer Brewery (founded in 1837), which also hosts the event, you can sample over 20 different beers on tap.

Vienna’s best cultural festival takes place from July 1st to August 16th.
