2. Vinyl & Music Festival in Ottakring

On the first weekend in March, the Ottakringer Brewery opens its doors to all visitors for the annual Vinyl and Music Festival. Numerous local and international artists have been invited to create the right atmosphere. You can expect the best DJs, live acts, panel discussions and even workshops. There will also be numerous food trucks on site offering the best festival food imaginable. This month, the festival will take place from March 4 to 5.

4. Tricky Women Festival

Everyone knows that on March 8, International Women's Day is celebrated around the world. On this occasion, Tricky Women Festival is held in different places in Vienna. The theme of this festival is animated film art made by women of all nationalities. This year the festival will also be available online, so if you can't attend in person, there will still be a variety of films, workshops and lectures that will also take place online. 6. Styrian Spring Festival

As usual, you can expect numerous stalls with traditional Styrian food, delicacies and of course wine, which is a staple in this Austrian region. Many people dressed in traditional Austrian costumes will give this festival the right ambiance and create the perfect atmosphere to fully enjoy Styrian culture, music and maybe even a 30-meter strudel.

7. Vienna Pet Fair

More than 200 exhibitors will present products for our beloved pets this month in the Marx Hall. You can find treats, high-quality pet food as well as nutritional supplements, leashes, collars, dog and cat beds, pet furniture and much more. A variety of pet-related services will be presented at the event, from pet trainers, dog schools, various continuing education courses for dogs and owners, insurance, veterinarians, veterinary medicine, vacations with animals, pet boarding facilities and much more. 8. Festival of Architecture Vienna

In March, another major event will take place in Vienna. The annual architecture festival celebrates its 21st anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the ORF broadcasting hall has been booked as the venue. 10. Easter Markets in Vienna
