Is there a better place for a beer festival than a real brewery? The Ottakringer Brewery in Vienna’s 16th district will once again transform into a vibrant festival venue in 2026, attracting beer lovers from all over the city. From July 2nd to September 4th, you can look forward to more than 20 freshly tapped beers!
There’s a wide selection: from classic varieties to creative craft beers from the BrauWerk line, as well as exciting special editions. Visitors can expect a relaxed atmosphere on the grounds, with beer garden tables and several serving stations right in front of a stage where live concerts are regularly held.
Tuesday-Thursday: 4-11p.m.
Friday-Saturday: 4-12p.m.
But the festival is more than just beer: Numerous street food stalls provide the perfect culinary accompaniment with typical snacks and dishes from Austrian beer culture – from sausages to schnitzel, with a touch of international flair.
Unique side events are also being planned for those seeking new experiences. Here are some program highlights you shouldn’t miss:
Beer Yoga: every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
Table Tennis: every Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Beer Tasting: every Thursday
Pub Quiz: every Saturday between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Beer Crate Singing: every Wednesday starting at 7:00 p.m.
