Ottakringer Beer Festival

What better place for a beer festival than an actual brewery? Vienna’s Ottakringer Brewery, located in the city’s 16th district, will once again host its vibrant Ottakringer Bierfest in 2025, drawing beer lovers from all over the city.

From June 26 to August 29, every Monday through Saturday, the brewery’s courtyard transforms into a lively beer garden filled with communal tables, multiple beer counters, and a stage for live performances. Guests can enjoy a wide range of Ottakringer’s classic beers, creative brews from their BrauWerk craft beer line, and a variety of special editions.

But the festival offers more than just beer. A diverse selection of street food stalls brings flavor to the event, featuring Austrian beer-friendly favorites—like sausages and schnitzel—alongside international specialties. On select days, special highlights like the Vinyl & Music Summer Nights on August 8 and 9 bring music lovers together for an evening of records and live performances—with free entry.

Another unique feature: open stage nights where anyone can step up and perform a song or two. And for those looking for something truly different, there’s even beer yoga, blending mindful movement with the enjoyment of a cold brew.
