1. Theatre Night in Prague

As every year, the Night of Theatres in Prague takes place on the third weekend of November and this year it celebrates its 10th anniversary! Join the festival, which will once again offer free or symbolically priced tours, theatre workshops, discussions with theatre directors and a large selection of various performances.This year’s theme is Heroes and visitors will have the opportunity to see the heroes of theatre plays and theatre work and its behind-the-scenes.

2. Apetit Picnic Prague

Enjoy delicious food, cooking shows, workshops and meet interesting guests from the cooking and pastry industry during the winter edition of the Apetit Picnic, which will take place on 12 November 2022 at the New Town Hall. The organizers have set up various booths where you can taste sausages, pretzels, chocolate, burgers, pastries of all kinds and date products, to name a few. There will be craft beer, a selection of coffee or hot fragrant Indian tea with milk. There will also be a children’s play area for the kids.

3. Nikola Tesla Exhibiton

An exhibition you should not miss! Find out more about the famous scientist Nikola Tesla at a unique exhibition that will run from 21 November to 11 December in Křižík Hall D (Výstaviště Holešovice). Models and other (well-known and lesser-known) inventions will be brought to the exhibition from the Nikola Tesla Museum in Serbia, which is the most visited museum in Serbia. You will see, for example, a remote-controlled boat pump, a set of four resonant circuits, wireless power transmission and much more.

4. MINT Market Prague

If you are looking for interesting Christmas gifts or want to buy something for yourself, come and support talented small Czech brands and creators at the MINT Market, which will take place in November in the Prague Market Hall. You can choose from many stalls of lovingly made handbags, handmade jewellery, organic cosmetics, candles, original stationery, macramé, porcelain, toys for children and much more. The organizers did not forget about children and prepared a children’s corner for the little ones.

5. Karlín street food festival

If you are a foodie or just want to taste new and tasty things, don’t forget to come to Karlínské náměstí on 6 November. At this year’s last edition of the Karlín Street Food Festival you will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of street food specialties. This time, the organizers have prepared a special performance of Armenian cuisine and culture that will surely impress and surprise you with its variety and taste. The event is suitable for families with children, for whom many attractions are prepared.

6. St. Martin’s Day Celebration

Come to Rašín’s Embankment in Prague on 11 November and join the annual celebration of St Martin’s Day. On the second Friday in November you will find here delicious goose specialties and the best selection of young Czech wines. Great live music will accompany you all day to lift your spirits! In addition, the organisers have not forgotten about ecology, so wine will be tasted and drunk exclusively from glasses, which not only makes the wine stand out in terms of taste, but also significantly eliminates waste.

7. Pork Fest

The well-known Vepřobraní returns to the Smíchov Embankment this November! The first weekend of the month will offer a varied selection of meat that will attract all meat lovers! You will have the opportunity to taste, for example, specialties from smokehouses such as sausages, bratwurst or smoked ham, classic meat specialties, as well as those originating from other countries, such as Hungarian mangalice, Italian prosciutto, Spanish salchichon and Iberian ham. 8. French Film Fest

Enjoy the best selection of French films this November in Prague! The 25th edition of the French Film Festival will take place at various venues in Prague from 24 November to 30 November. You can look forward to the 10 best films of recent years, new releases in preview, French classics, short films and new releases from the Cannes Film Festival. There will also be well-known films such as Serial (Bad) Weddings, Little Nicholas or Amelie.

9. St. Martin’s Day lantern parade

This family-friendly event is being held to celebrate St. Martin’s Day and will be full of activities to keep the kids entertained for the day! The lantern parade will take place on 5 November in the Vltavany area (Prague 4). Your children can enjoy art workshops, sports activities, theatre, a lantern procession to the river and a festive meeting with St. Martin. As you need to register for this event in advance, don’t hesitate to do so as soon as possible!

10. Concert for the future

On 17 November, the entire Wenceslas Square will be filled with live music and speeches by public figures at the Festival of Freedom 2022! The Concert for the Future is an annual commemoration of the legacy of the Velvet Revolution, taking place in the very centre of the Czech capital. Among the artists who will perform at the event we will find Lenka Dusilova Band, singers David Koller and Ben Cristovao, Chave Romane, Pussy Riot and many more!
