Prague Zoo once again brings a magical Christmas at the Zoo – from 22 to 31 December 2025, visitors can enjoy a rich holiday program full of special commented feedings and keeper talks with the zoo’s biggest stars, from penguins, giraffes and elephants to gorillas, pangolins and Tasmanian devils. Christmas at Prague Zoo is a perfect way to spend the holidays actively, outdoors and in the company of fascinating animals.
On 13 December 2025 from 3 pm to 7 pm, the area around Rudolfinum on Alšovo nábřeží turns into a festive running zone for Christmas Run Prague 2025 – a fun, non-competitive event where costumes and good vibes matter more than speed. There are several distances for both adults and children, runners in Santa, reindeer or elf outfits, a starter pack with small Christmas goodies, a themed finisher medal, plus music, a Christmas side program, photo spots and a popular best-costume contest. A perfect way to get into the holiday spirit while staying active with the whole family.
The St. Nicholas Charity Bazaar organised by the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97 will take place on Friday 5 December 2025 at the beautiful Prague Crossroads – St. Anne’s Church in Prague 1. From 2 pm to 6 pm, visitors can shop for unique Christmas gifts from non-profit organisations, support sheltered workshops and other projects, relax with a cup of tea and let children meet St. Nicholas, the devil and the angel. Design lovers should not miss Dyzajn Market – Winter 2025, taking place on 13–14 December 2025 at the Výstaviště fairgrounds in Prague 7 – Holešovice. The open-air market will feature up to 200 carefully curated brands offering original jewellery, fashion, accessories, bags, porcelain, toys and stationery, plus a tempting food zone with street food, desserts, hot drinks and specialty coffee.
