The 4 + 4 Days in Motion Festival returns for its 31st edition and will present a superb international selection of theater and dance projects that connect the arts with current social issues.
This year’s edition explores the theme of responding to how rapidly the world is changing.
Visitors can look forward to seven international productions, contemporary dance, experimental theater, and multimedia works.
The program will also include various themed exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and discussions. The festival traditionally makes use of unconventional venues in Prague and brings contemporary art to people who don’t normally encounter it but want to get to know it better.
One of the main venues for this year’s festival is the Galaxie Cultural Station, located in Prague’s Háje neighborhood, which will offer a theater and arts program in the spaces of a former multiplex cinema.
Selected events will also take place at the Vzlet cultural space in Vršovice. The festival is a great opportunity to discover new forms of artistic expression, view themed works, and get to know the contemporary independent scene.
If you’re an art lover or want to learn more about contemporary art, don’t hesitate to stop by the 4+4 Days in Motion festival.
