Mezipatra festival

In November, Prague will once again host Mezipatra, an international queer film festival that has been showcasing the stories of people from the LGBTQ+ community for 27 years.

The festival will feature a selection of contemporary feature films and documentaries from around the world that explore identity, relationships, family, acceptance, and social issues.

In addition to film screenings, visitors can look forward to Q&As with filmmakers, panel discussions, and other accompanying events. Some screenings will be followed by meet-and-greets with directors and crew members, who will discuss the making of the films and the themes they explore.

The Prague leg of the festival will begin on November 5 with an opening ceremony at the Lucerna Cinema. Over the following week, screenings will also take place at the Světozor Cinema and other festival venues. Mezipatra will thus offer not only a cinematic experience but also an opportunity for open interaction and learning about diverse life stories.
