1. Letňany Sports Festival

The Letňany Sports Festival will take place on 5-7 September 2024 in Prague 18 – Letňany and will offer a rich programme of sports activities for children and adults in the Letňany Forest Park and surrounding sports grounds. 2. Vintage at St. Klara Vineyard

Get ready for a unique experience at St. Clare’s Vineyard in Prague, where a vintage festival will take place on 14 and 15 September 2024. 3. Burgerfest Prague

This year, the 13th edition of the festival will turn into “PrimaBurgerfest”, which will take place on 7 and 8 September 2024 at the Holešovice Exhibition Centre. The aim of the festival is to show that the burger is not just an ordinary fast food dish, but a culinary art that deserves its own feast. 4. Vysočany Oktoberfest in Prague

This year, you can look forward to the Vysočany Oktoberfest, which will take place from 18 to 21 September 2024 in the new space of the Permanent Pragovka. The festival will offer top Bavarian beer from renowned breweries such as Paulaner, Hofbräu and others, which will be tapped into traditional tuplas. Visitors can enjoy typical Bavarian specialties such as wursts and pretzels and enjoy the authentic atmosphere, which will be supported by visitors in traditional costumes. 5. Dyzajn Market Indian summer

Dyzajn Market returns to the Prague Exhibition Centre in Holešovice on 14 and 15 September 2024. This popular market of original creations will offer over 200 local designers from 10:00 to 18:00, who will present their unique products, from jewellery and clothing to porcelain, toys and delicacies. The event also includes a small food festival with a variety of offerings for all diners. Admission to the event is free, wheelchair accessible and your dogs are welcome. 6. Festival of small breweries

The Festival of Small Breweries at Kulaťák will take place on 7 September 2024 as part of the Saturday market at Kulaťák on Vítězný náměstí in Prague 6. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of beer from more than 20 small breweries, including newcomers such as Pivovar Polička, Pacov and Záhora. The event will be accompanied by a wide range of street food and live music from 11:00 to 20:00. The markets will run from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and the festival will last until 8:00 pm. 7. St. Wenceslas Day 2024

The traditional festivities in Na Jezerce Park will take place on Saturday 28 September 2024 from 1 pm and will offer a varied programme for the whole family. Visitors can look forward to theatrical performances by the ÚSMĚV Theatre, Divadýlka z PYTLÍČKU and the legendary Spejbl and Hurvínek Theatre. The musical atmosphere will be provided by the BomBarďák group and the Rytíři Koruny České will perform breathtaking knightly duels. The event is free and guarantees fun for all generations.

8. Cider Festival Prague

The Cider Festival returns for its seventh year and promises to be the biggest “fermented” event of 2024! From 20th to 22nd September at the Prague Cross Club in Plynární Street you can look forward to dozens of varieties of craft ciders and lemonades from the Czech Republic and abroad. The festival will offer not only a wide range of cider flavours, but also good food, music, workshops and entertainment for children. The event will feature established brands such as Prvni Prajzske cider, Divoké jablko and Tátův sad. Admission for the whole weekend costs 200 CZK. 9. Urban Challenge Night Prague

Join the Urban Challenge, an adrenaline-packed weekend of fun and sport, taking place 6-7 September 2024 in Prague! This urban obstacle race over 5 or 10 km awaits you at two different locations, the Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice and Lesopark Letňany. The event also includes a night run Urban Challenge, where you will run with a headlamp and experience an unforgettable experience without winners, but with a rich accompanying program. 10. Day of Heroes

Come and see the technology and work of the Integrated Rescue System on Heroes’ Day, which will take place on 28 September 2024 at the Prague Exhibition Centre. The event offers demonstrations of heavy equipment, historic vehicles and equipment, including a Pandur wheeled armoured vehicle, a police helicopter and a recovery tank. You can learn how to build a flood wall or provide first aid. There are competitions and challenge stations for children to earn stamps for their ‘little hero passport’ and prizes. The programme also includes the JUDr. František Kohout Memorial in rescuing people from crashed vehicles with the participation of teams of professional firefighters from all over the Czech Republic. The event runs from 11:00 to 18:00 and admission is free.
