St. Wenceslas Day

Prague 4 District cordially invites you to the traditional festive event Svatováclavské Velebení 2025, which will take place on Sunday, September 28, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the beautiful Na Jezerce Park.

Come and enjoy a day full of history, music, and entertainment for the whole family.

Visitors can look forward to a rich program:

Theatrical performances for children and adults – featuring Pruhované Panenky, Divadlo Úsměv, and Divadlo Debut.

Step dance performance titled “When Steps Speak”, which will captivate both young and adult audiences.

Music program by the energetic band MIXLE v PIKSLE, guaranteed to get the whole crowd moving.

Knightly duels performed by the Knights of the Czech Crown, transporting you back to long-past times and offering a unique look at medieval combat.

The event is held on the occasion of Czech Statehood Day, making it an ideal opportunity to spend an afternoon outdoors, enjoy cultural experiences, and celebrate Czech traditions. Admission is free, so you can come with your whole family and relax in a park full of music, theater, and history.
