Experience the City Differently in Prague is a street neighborhood festival that will transform streets, squares, and corners throughout the metropolis into lively places for one day. On Saturday, September 19, 2026, you can look forward to a unique atmosphere full of neighborly sharing, local culture, great food, creative activities, and most importantly – no cars.
The Experience the City Differently festival is unique in that it comes directly from local residents, associations, cafes, and tradespeople. The main idea is to transform public space from a mere traffic route into a safe and friendly place to meet. Instead of the noise of cars, live music, laughter, and neighborhood conversations can be heard through the streets.
Neighborhood dining, singing, and workshops take place at various locations throughout Prague at the same time. You can stop by for homemade breakfasts and lunches, performances by musicians, theater artists, or dancers, creative workshops, clothing and book swaps, but also participate in chess or table tennis tournaments.
The variety of the program and locations promises that you will experience something completely different on every corner. Everyone is welcome and the event is also fully dog-friendly.
