If you are interested in the work of integrated rescue services and want to experience a day full of adrenaline-pumping experiences and education, you cannot miss the Heroes’ Day at the Exhibition Grounds 2026, which will take place on September 26 from 11:00 to 17:00.
The event offers a unique opportunity to see the technology, vehicles and equipment of rescue workers, firefighters, police, soldiers and other components of the integrated rescue system.
This year’s 11th year is expanding its program to Křižík Pavilion B with the theme “Safely in Danger”. Here you will find stands of humanitarian organizations, interactive presentations from the field of safety and prevention. You can also expect a Podcast stage with interviews with everyday heroes, offering you a unique opportunity to understand the work of those who are behind our safety. An interactive program focused on internet safety, prevention of risky behavior and cybersecurity is also prepared, including quizzes, escape games and other educational activities for all age groups.
Program for children – popular fighting game “The Journey of the Little Hero” (for younger children) and the game “Hero of Codes” (for older children aged 10–15), where they will test their knowledge of calling for help or encryption. Playing cards for these games are charged at CZK 100.
Demonstrations of the work of professional firefighters in rescuing people from crashed vehicles. The event is traditionally part of the 31st annual JUDr. František Kohout Memorial, where approximately 20 teams from all over the country will compete.
Competitions of young firefighters in fire sports, where dozens of children will demonstrate the skills that every young firefighter must master.
Heroes’ Day at the Exhibition Grounds is an ideal opportunity to learn more about safety and rescue services while enjoying a fun and educational day for the whole family.
