One of the most wonderful times of the year is here! A time when humanity, emotion and kindness are a little closer to us again and we are even more aware of the preciousness of interpersonal relationships.
Christmas Petržalka starts on Friday 22 November and runs until Saturday 21 December 2024. For almost four weeks you can look forward to a varied programme for the less and more demanding, as well as a number of side events and charity events.
On 22 December you will still be able to enjoy goodies from stallholders.
As in other years, Christmas Petržalka will start on 22 November with the opening ceremony of the Christmas market and the lighting of the Petržalka Christmas tree in the Republic Square. Traditionally, the tasty Mayor’s Punch 🧋 can’t be missed either. As a highlight of the festive programme, the vocal music group FRAGILE will perform at Petržalka Christmas Markets. 😍
In order not to get hungry or exhausted, during the entire duration of the Christmas market, a total of 13 stalls await all Petržalka residents, Petržalka residents and visitors, where you will be able to buy delicious snacks and various Christmas goods. This year’s novelty will be a wooden nativity scene, the authenticity of which will be underlined by live animals on selected days. 🐑🦉
