A beautiful adventure about a little penguin rescued from an oil spill by a Brazilian fisherman, who is secluded after surviving a personal tragedy. The story of the penguin and fisherman’s friendship is inspired by reality. Thirteen years ago, in fact, a fisherman did rescue a penguin from a toxic water. After the penguin recovered and he set him free, he had no idea that in time he would see his animal friend again. In fact, the penguin began to visit him, despite the vast distance that separated them.

One of the best Czech actresses, the icon Iva Janžurová, will be presented in documentary film by her daughter, the well-known documentary filmmaker Theodora Remundová. The screen will thus reveal not only the professional life and career of Iva Janžurová, but also her personal life in the context of the times. Together with her daughter, we will walk through the childhood of this Czech icon, as well as the essential moments of her life. The film had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary IFF 2024 in the section Returns to the Sources.

But the latter is a rare species of dragon, so it’s only a matter of time before she is kidnapped by smugglers in Africa. The little panda doesn’t hesitate for a minute and sets out on a rescue mission. He won’t be alone in the rescue, during the journey he meets an orangutan captain, a family of turtles and a clever monkey, who eventually sets off on the journey with Pang.
