Three Kings Procession

We are pleased to announce to old and new fans of the Three Kings Procession in our city and county that the 5th Three Kings Procession will take place on January 6, 2025. 

Sages from far away, representing members of three generations and three races, will visit us – as is tradition – on the backs of ungulates. They will be shown the way by little star-bearers. They will be accompanied by drummers, bagpipers and carol singers.

The event will start at 14:30 in the courtyard of Bratislava Castle, where we will await the arrival of the three kings – the wise men from the East and the star bearers at the head of the procession on their way to the comet. Starlight from the castle will show the way to the kings. The kings and shepherds will be joined by flag bearers, drummers, children, and all who wish to augment the procession are invited.

There will be other theatrical performances along the route of the joint journey. The parade will end in Franciscan Square at the living nativity scene, where the star will stand still and the kings will present gifts to the baby Jesus. A final concert by singer and composer Zuzana Eperješiová, known by her stage name SKYVA, will be a gift for all those present.

Not only the destination, but also the journey itself with the kings will bring many surprises to the whole procession.
