The Swan Lake

The most famous ballet in the world, Swan Lake, will be presented in Slovakia in February 2025 by the renowned Grand Royal Classic Ballet under the direction of Marcin Rolczyński.

The company was founded with a passion for classical dance by Marcin Rolczyński and for years has remained one of the most important ambassadors of the art of ballet in Europe and around the world.

The group brings together talented dancers from all over the world who follow an outstanding artistic director who has a wealth of experience as both a dancer and choreographer. Under his brilliant leadership, the Royal Classical Ballet has become a symbol of excellence in the art of ballet.

The dancers of this group are distinguished not only by their perfect technique and precise movements, but also by their ability to convey emotion and exceptional expression. Their passion for dance is evident at every turn and their spectacular performances evoke great emotion from the audience.

The programme “Swan Lake” tells a moving story of love, magic and sacrifice. The story revolves around the young Prince Siegfried who falls in love with the beautiful Odette, transformed into a swan by a powerful sorcerer. The desperate wizard Rothbart vows to destroy their love through intrigue, manipulation and illusion. Will love and determination be enough to defeat the forces of evil?

The costumes, designed by Marta Bartosik, reflect the beauty and elegance of classical ballet, and the set brings to life the fairytale world and its magic. The choreography, designed by Alessandro Bonavita, reminds us of the most important elements of classical dance – lightness, precision, perfection of form, while allowing us to express the emotions and experiences of the characters.

P.I. Tchaikovsky’s music accompanying the performance is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and famous ballet works of all time. Combined with the magic of ballet dance, it creates a unique experience for the audience.
