From 1 October 2025 to 28 February 2026, Prague becomes a place where the future meets the present. The new Signal Space gallery opens its very first exhibition, Echoes of Tomorrow, inviting visitors into a world of technology, emotion, light, and sound, and offering a unique perspective on how our visions of the future are already shaping everyday reality.
The exhibition explores how dreams, data, decisions, and technological systems leave their “echoes” in the present moment. Here, the future is not a distant concept, but an invisible network permeating cities, technologies, and human emotions. Each installation presents a different viewpoint—at times you find yourself inside an illusion that dissolves as you move, at other moments you enter a system that is precise yet unpredictable. Light draws thoughts, and sound becomes a tool that guides space and perception.
The installations in Echoes of Tomorrow are not static objects, but living organisms. They are generative, ever-changing, and responsive to the presence of the viewer, who becomes an integral part of the artwork. Technology is used not merely for visual effect, but as a means of reflection—prompting questions about where we are heading and how our choices influence the world around us.
The main highlight of the exhibition is the Immersive Space, the largest projection hall of its kind in the Czech Republic, where images are projected onto walls and floors alike. It features Everything by the Istanbul-based studio Nohlab, an installation that merges scientific data, philosophy, and digital visualization into a powerful audiovisual experience. Another standout is the Infinity Room, created in collaboration with Preciosa Lighting. Through mirrors and 180 cut crystal cubes, it creates a mesmerizing illusion of infinite space, inspired by the brand’s international design successes.
Signal Space also showcases leading international artists and studios whose works have been exhibited at prestigious institutions such as London’s V&A Museum, Paris’s Palais de Tokyo, New York’s Park Avenue Armory, or Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier. Visitors will encounter, for example, the laser choreography Intangible Forms by Japanese artist Shohei Fujimoto, the interactive piece Body Sketches by American artist Zach Lieberman, or the hypnotic light-and-sound installation Signes by the Barcelona-based duo Playmodes. The exhibition also includes generative digital landscapes, meditative light installations, and projects using artificial intelligence to visualize the origins of life.
Echoes of Tomorrow is not just an exhibition, but an intense sensory experience that connects art, science, and technology. It offers space to slow down, observe, and reflect on how the future is being created right now. If you are looking for an exhibition that pushes the boundaries of the traditional gallery experience, Signal Space should definitely be on your list.
