LUSTR Festival

From September 20 to 28, the 11th edition of LUSTR – the International Festival of Illustration and Comics will take place at Holešovická Tržnice, making it one of the most significant events for all lovers of visual arts.

This festival annually showcases around one hundred talented artists, from renowned figures to representatives of the youngest generation of illustrators and comic creators from both the Czech Republic and abroad.

LUSTR is a space where creators from around the world come together, sharing inspiration and know-how through workshops, lectures, and browsing some of the most beautiful books. This year’s program will feature exceptional exhibitions, including a showcase of comics from ten unique genres, adorned with works by significant international creators. One of the main highlights will be the **New York Salon**, where world-famous illustrator **David Huang** will present the best of the American scene, alongside an exhibition of young Ukrainian illustrators led by curator **Anna Sarvira**, focusing on the theme of the future.

As every year, there will also be a vibrant **Showcase**, where visitors can explore original works selected by an expert jury from worldwide submissions. The festival offers a rich accompanying program, appealing to children, adults, professionals, and enthusiasts alike. LUSTR is a unique opportunity to experience contemporary illustration and comics in all their beauty and diversity.
