The Prague Pride 2025 festival will take place from July 28 to August 3, turning the city center into a symbol of tolerance, acceptance, and belonging.
The main events will take place primarily in Prague 1 and nearby areas.
One of the largest cultural festivals in the Czech Republic, Prague Pride, will once again enrich the summer atmosphere of the capital. Now in its 15th year, the festival focuses on LGBT+ topics. However, it is not only aimed at minority communities—it is open to everyone who wants to live in a society free of prejudice, discrimination, and fear.
The theme for 2025: “Where Is My Home?”
This year’s edition poses a question that resonates with all of us: What does home mean? For queer people, the journey to a safe home can be complicated—full of prejudice, rejection, or legal barriers. That’s why Prague Pride 2025 creates a space where everyone can feel welcome.
What to expect from this year’s program?
The festival will offer more than a hundred diverse events throughout the week—cultural, educational, spiritual, and sports activities. The program includes film screenings, debates, exhibitions, workshops, and meetings with notable guests from both the Czech Republic and abroad. In the past, guests have included Conchita Wurst, Omar Sharif Jr., Vladimir Luxuria, and Ellie Lust.
The highlight of the week will be the traditional Saturday rainbow parade through Prague, attended by tens of thousands of people. This march celebrates diversity, equality, and the right to be yourself.
A festival with a focus on sustainability
Prague Pride has long prioritized sustainability—using reusable cups, reducing printed materials, and promoting waste sorting. In doing so, it embraces social responsibility not only in the area of human rights but also toward the environment.
Wishing you a joyful and proud Pride!
