A beautiful classical palace, the former seat of the archbishop, a place of important historical events, whose salons are decorated with rare tapestries of incalculable value. They were woven in the 17th century in the famous English weavers’ workshop in the town of Mortlake (now part of London). The story of tragic love depicted on the tapestries will surely appeal to you, but believe us, the story of the palace itself is no less interesting. Come and hear it and enjoy the sight of beauty.
A guided tour of the Primate’s Palace, including entry to the English tapestry exhibitions, will take place on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
