Twenty-second night full of architecture, urbanism and design. The Night of Architecture and Design is a student project that showcases the most interesting things that have been created at the faculty over the last semester.
It is a multi-genre platform that provides a glimpse into the heart of what is happening at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at STU.
It is an evening event when the entire faculty building is transformed into a landscape full of exhibited studio works by students, with the main aim of showing the results of a wide range of projects created at the faculty to the professional and general public.
The discussion pajc × pechtle mechtle with graphic design with guests Ľubica Segečová and Martin Jančok will open the topic of the connection between graphic design and architecture. Quality visual communication plays an important role in the presentation of a work – come and find out more in the Boiler Room.
SINGULARCH in REFERENCE format will be presented by the renowned gutgut studio.
The heads of the studio, Lukáš Kordík and Štefan Polakovič, will talk about the starting points and inspirations that influence the process of their work.
SINGULARCH will continue with a keynote lecture with guests from the X = ( T = E = N ) collective. Tijana Mačkić (Belgrade, RS) and Scott Lloyd (Zurich, CH) will present the focus of their work, which is on creating new realities and values through buildings, urban design, algorithmic design, materials research and prototypes, together with various collaborators, institutional partners and private clients.
The lecture will be delivered in English.
