Vienna Poetry Society

Poetry Society Vienna (poetry reading and performance). After a great February event, we are hosting our next poetry night in April! We are an international community that enjoys reading, writing, sharing, and discussing poetry. If you enjoy any of these things, you are invited to join us! Our mission is to give a platform and safe space to international writers and poets living in Vienna. We do this by hosting live poetry readings in English.

We invite all poets and poetry lovers to join us for the evening to share, enjoy, and connect with the words and stories of our participants. Our evenings are a dialogue, not a competition. Our goal is to encourage the exchange of opinions and inspiration: and your poem is an important part of that!

INFO for participants:
Anyone can participate, especially newcomers. Please note that all poems must be performed in English. Additionally, you can also recite your poem in your native language.

HOW:
Please email us at poetrysocietyvienna@gmail.com with your short bio and the poem you would like to perform, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Deadline for poetry submissions is April 2, 2023 – spaces are limited.
