Exhibition “Baťa – Slovo nejde neexistuje”

The exhibition “Baťa – The Word Impossible Doesn’t Exist” about Tomáš Baťa and his self-development program will take place from October 21, 2025, to January 20, 2026, in the cozy space of the kaš-mi-daš stationery and café in Holešovice, Prague.

Organized by the eco-friendly stationery brand Be Nice, the exhibition offers an inspiring look at Tomáš Baťa’s personality, values, and unique approach to personal growth, which continues to resonate more than a century later.

Baťa was not only a visionary entrepreneur but also a man who emphasized discipline, courage, and self-reflection. His well-known motto, “First build yourself, then you can build your business,” perfectly captures the essence of Baťa’s philosophy — the belief that the success of any company begins with the individual. The exhibition presents Baťa’s management system and his holistic approach to work, which unites business, personal growth, and social responsibility into one cohesive vision.

Visitors can also explore original products inspired by Baťa’s principles, including the Deník SOBĚ (Journal for Yourself), 2026 Diaries, and signed art prints. The Deník SOBĚ guides users through three chapters — Perceive, Care, Indulge — encouraging self-reflection, conscious goal-setting, and positive change. The diaries, crafted with respect for traditional Czech craftsmanship, feature Baťa’s timeless thoughts and motivational quotes for each month of the year.

The exhibition Baťa sobě is not only a tribute to one of the greatest Czech entrepreneurs but also an invitation for visitors to draw inspiration from his philosophy and embark on their own path of self-development.
