In Prague 10, you’ll find a place that blends history with modern relaxation – the Panská Garden with a maze.
It lies within the protected zone of the Říčanka Nature Park, one of the oldest natural parks in Prague, and its very location gives it a unique atmosphere.
The name of the garden refers to its past – it was once the garden of the estate’s administrator, stretching next to the former fortress. Today, only the walls and a listed granary building remain, with side entrances leading directly into the park.
The modern form of the garden invites visitors to enjoy many activities. There’s a shrub maze, a barefoot trail, wobbly bridges across a stream, and even a meditation meadow with stones and a small watercourse where you can relax in peace. One of the most remarkable features is a vineyard covering 770 m², planted with Marlen and Madel varieties – a charming detail that adds character and recalls the local winemaking tradition.
The park is also family-friendly – children can enjoy the maze, playground, trampoline, carousel, and plenty of space to explore. Adults will appreciate benches, educational trails, and even a small amphitheater where cultural events take place.
The Panská Garden in Dubeč is an ideal spot for families with children, cyclists, and anyone looking for a touch of nature with a hint of history – all just a short trip from the center of Prague.
