Masopoost 2025 Prague

Masopoost 2025 will welcome spring with a grand celebration on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Holešovice Market, specifically in Halls 13 and 17, where from 19:00 to 4:00, tradition will merge with decadence, art with electronics, and masks with music.

Visitors will immerse themselves in a dreamlike world full of music, theater, art, and unique experiences.

On two stages and their surroundings, performances will include Weval, Bert & Friends, Jiří Korn, Miss Petty, Perel, Bratři, Yambro, Nano Tone, Tea Sofia, and Piqi Miqi. In addition to musical performances, the program will feature Cirk La Putyka, large-scale painting by Jan Bican, an installation by Barbora Fastrová, and an upcycled functional installation by Jana Horejšová.

Food and drinks will be an integral part of the experience. At the table of abundance, Masopust specialties will be served by Kro Kitchen and the Karlín restaurant HolKa. Drinks will be provided by Lidi z baru, the creators behind establishments such as Bar, který neexistuje, 4pokoje, and Super Panda Cirkus. Beer will be supplied by Škola čepování, and prosecco by Prosekárna.

Masopoost is also a festival of masks, where creativity knows no bounds. Visitors can take a minimalist approach with natural colors and a simple mask to blend into the atmosphere of Hall 17 or transform into walking spring, a bear, or a vibrant tangle of ribbons and become part of Hall 13, which will shine with colors, sounds, and emotions. Traditional Masopust characters such as the Grim Reaper, the rooster, or the straw figure are also welcome.

Masopoost 2025 is a celebration of cycles and transformations. It is a nocturnal ritual full of energy and quietude, joy and melancholy, community and solitude. Everyone will find their own rhythm, mood, and story within it. By entering this event, visitors will step into a dynamic world where spring seamlessly transitions into autumn, summer into winter, and nothing remains stagnant.
