Soup festival 2026 on the Smíchov Embankment will take place on Saturday, October 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will once again offer a unique culinary experience for all soup lovers.

Polívkování—a showcase of soups that will warm even those who still insist that “soup isn’t a meal” 😅.

Here’s what awaits you:

🍲 Czech classics (potato soup, kulajda, broths…)

🌏 international favorites (ramen, pho, laksa, bouillabaisse, harira, borscht…)

🌱 veggie & vegan treats

🍩 desserts, hot drinks, and plenty of aromas that will simply sweep you off your feet

There will be popular homemade soups such as potato soup, kulajda, cabbage soup, lentil soup, pumpkin soup, and rich broths, as well as heartier options like black pudding soup, dumpling soup, and tripe soup. For those eager to try new tastes, international delicacies will also be available, including Russian borscht, Mexican chipotle, Malaysian laksa, French bouillabaisse, Vietnamese pho, Moroccan harira, and the ever-popular Japanese ramen. Vegetarians and vegans will be delighted by a wide selection of vegetable creams and legume-based soups that cater to even the most refined palates.

Great soups go hand in hand with fresh bread. Visitors can enjoy crispy rolls, homemade bread, and other savory treats. Sweet desserts will also be available to complete the overall gastronomic experience. In addition to soups and baked goods, the event will feature a diverse selection of street food specialties, appealing to all food lovers.

Smíchovská náplavka will once again come alive with the aroma of hot dishes and a friendly atmosphere. The event is ideal for families, friends, and individuals who want to enjoy a pleasant day by the Vltava River and try something new. Organizers recommend parking at OC Nový Smíchov, where visitors can park for free for up to five hours, or in the nearby Svornosti Street, where parking is free throughout the weekend.

And as a bonus? The atmosphere by the water, music, a chill vibe, and tons of bowls you’ll want to photograph before you even eat them.

Come warm up your hands, your stomach, and your soul.
