If you love traditional Czech cuisine and the atmosphere of autumn fairs, you shouldn’t miss the Pork and Goose Feast at Smíchovská Náplavka. This event will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and promises a return to authentic flavors associated with the celebration of St. Martin’s Day.

Although St. Martin’s Day is still a few days away, you can already enjoy traditional goose and pork delicacies on the first Saturday of November, just like those served at past autumn feasts.

At Smíchovská Náplavka, you can look forward to roasted goose legs, kaldoun (traditional goose soup), pâtés, liver, goose burgers, and more delights. Goose-fat-laden lokše (potato pancakes) will also be available. Pork lovers can indulge in black pudding, sausages, head cheese, boiled pork, smoked ham, and piglet roasts, reminiscent of traditional pig-slaughtering feasts.

If you have a sweet tooth, you can enjoy Old Czech pastries like yeast cakes, buns, frgály (Moravian pies), and of course, St. Martin’s crescent rolls.

In addition to the delicious food, the event at Smíchovská Náplavka will feature a pleasant atmosphere with music and stalls offering traditional crafts. The entire day will be filled with festive joy, sure to be enjoyed by both adults and children. Whether you’re a fan of goose, pork, or Czech sweets, this feast offers a true taste of autumn.

Admission to the event is free, so don’t hesitate—bring your family and friends and come enjoy a day full of great food and fun at Smíchovská Náplavka!
