Two evenings filled with original songs, distinctive lyrics, and music that defies easy categorization.
The Festival of Lonely Songwriters returns to Prague on October 23 and 24, this time to the attic space at Malostranská beseda.
A number of prominent figures from the Czech and Slovak singer-songwriter scene will take the stage.
On Friday, for example, Dagmar Voňková, Zuzana Homolová, Petr Váša, and Jiří Dědeček will perform; Saturday’s program will feature Martina Trchová, Jan Burian, and Petr Nikl.
The festival is an opportunity to discover musicians whose work is based primarily on distinctive lyrics, creative ideas, and a lively connection with the audience.
This year’s edition is also taking place in a new venue, so visitors can expect a slightly different atmosphere than in previous years.
