From 1st to 17 March come to Prague’s Botanical Garden that will host unique exhibition that will appeal all your senses. You will have the chance to discover bits of the world with all your senses – touch, smell, sight and taste.
A trained guide, Braille descriptions and an audio guide will be available throughout the exhibition. The organisers have prepared a packed programme that will include various thematic workshops.
Accompanying programme:
2.- 3. 3. Origami of blindfold
Fold origami under the guidance of Lukáš Treml, who is blind, and try this seemingly simple puzzle, even with your eyes closed. Not only will Lukáš be there, but also his collaborator will be available to help you fold.
9.- 10. 3. Sashiko without needle and thread
Create an original paper bookmark inspired by the sashiko technique. You’ll be able to draw elegant Japanese embroidery with a sharpie on ink-stained paper based on traditional designs.
16. – 17. 3. A little bit different writing
Get a glimpse into the ins and outs of other writing styles. During the workshop, you will pick up a Japanese brush and a calligraphy pen. You will try your hand at writing simple Japanese characters as well as calligraphy from the time of Josef Korensky.
Venue: Botanical Garden Prague
Date: 1. – 17. 3. 2024
Admission: regular one as the basic admission fee to the botanical garden
