From 6 to 8 October, come to the 28th edition of Břevnovské posvícení which will take place in Břevnovský klášter in Prague. On Friday afternoon, the majority of the stalls and carnival attractions will be open.
The main celebration will begin in the morning on Saturday, October 7. Roast ribs, cheese, butcher’s specialties, potato pancakes, burgers, shashlik, pancakes, and many other delicacies and specialties will be available at the stalls. There will also be microbrewery, mead, wine, and bourbon stands. The Bevnov brewery will show how to make mediaeval beer.
This year, visitors will not be denied access to an old Bohemian community full of artisans and farmers. The crafts will be demonstrated at stalls throughout the town, and youngsters will be able to try them out and make something.
On Saturday and Sunday, the stage programme begins after noon and has something for every guest.
The stage will be filled with music of all genres for people of all ages. A massive fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 19:05 on Saturday.
