This weekend, one of Prague’s steepest streets will turn into a downhill full of extreme obstacles. The race will bring a combination of downhilarding. Maxim Habanec has invited twenty skateboarders from all over the world. The track will run along Kostelní Street from the Technical Museum to the embankment of Captain Jaroš.
The race is rated based on the drivers’ speed, ingenuity, and innovation in navigating the obstacles. Everyone must follow the same rule: you must not take your foot off the board during the ride. This means that braking must be done through skidding rather than using the sole. If you fall, you can continue, but your chances of succeeding are slim owing to the loss of time. Riders will be given a score ranging from 0 to 100 points for each feat performed, minus the time required. As a result, the final outcome will show a mix of speed and trick performance.
