Paper Fest Prague

In case you like crafts, stationery, especially paper, you should not miss another edition of Papír fest, which will take place this weekend on Saturday 10 June at Gabriel loci.

The festival will offer a variety of workshops (you need to register as there is a limited capacity!). Tickets will only be available for purchase on-site if course capacity does not fill up online.

Children’s workshop – Making greeting cards (at 10:15) – 50 CZK

The workshop for children under the auspices of the Be Nice stationery shop is designed for visitors between 5-13 years old. In 45 minutes, they will be able to create imaginative greeting cards out of paper, while moms will have the opportunity to go through the festival in peace.

Transfer interior into the paper (at 10:15) – 590 CZK

Do you want to customize your interior to make it more relevant to your needs? During this workshop, you will learn how changes to your interior can contribute to your health and mood. Under the guidance of an experienced architect, you will learn how to work with scale and space, and figure out where to make a change with the help of original illustrated cards and diagrams. Because even a small change counts and can help you feel better at home.

Production of upcycled notebooks (at 10:15) – 600 CZK

In the spirit of upcycling and with the help of V1 binding, we will make notebooks together from old papers and scraps, where each piece will be an original. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners, the main thing is the creative spirit and the desire to create.

Basics of sealing (at 11:15) – 690 CZK

During this sealing workshop for beginners, the participants will have the chance to learn how to create beautiful seals to decorate letters or gifts. Visitors will be introduced to different tools that they will be able to try on the spot and they will get valuable hints, tips and tricks to help to achieve better results. After completing the course, they will be able to create stunning seals and impress with your handwritten embellishments.

Basics of embroidery (at 17:00) – 690 CZK

During the course visitors will learn basic embroidery techniques and different types of stitches. In addition to the theory, there is also a practical part, during which they will be able to try out their new skills on the spot. During the workshop, visitors will also gain valuable information on how to properly care for their creations and take home a bunch of useful tips and tricks to help them to achieve even better embroidery results.
