Spring in Prague will be painted in shades of pink – on Saturday, May 16, 2026, the 15th edition of the popular Růžový máj festival will take place at Rašínovo nábřeží. The event offers a full day of tastings, gastronomy, and music in a unique riverside setting.
The festival will feature a selection of the best rosé wines from Moravia and Bohemia, which rank among the world’s finest. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste fresh, fruity rosés from recent vintages presented by around 25 winemakers. As tradition goes, tastings are served exclusively in glass festival glasses, enhancing the wine experience while reducing plastic waste.
Great wine goes hand in hand with great food – and this festival delivers. A wide variety of food stalls will offer dishes perfectly paired with rosé wines. Expect Mediterranean specialties, cheeses, cured meats, street food, and other delicacies from around the world. Non-alcoholic drinks, quality coffee, and craft beer will also be available.
Růžový máj is not just about flavors, but also about atmosphere. Throughout the day, live music will accompany the event – from traditional cimbalom bands to jazz and swing, inviting visitors to dance right by the river. The program creates a relaxed and vibrant vibe, perfect for meeting friends or enjoying a sunny spring day outdoors.
