Science Fair in Prague

Science Fair 2026 returns to Prague from June 4–6, 2026, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments in research, technology, and innovation.

Organized by the Czech Academy of Sciences, the country’s largest science outreach event will once again take place at PVA EXPO Prague in Letňany, with free admission for all visitors.

Over the course of three days, more than 100 exhibitions will showcase the most exciting topics from natural sciences, technology, humanities, and social sciences. Research institutes, universities, science centers, and other organizations from across the Czech Republic will come together to present their work and demonstrate how science shapes everyday life.

One of the event’s highlights will be its interactive exhibits, allowing visitors to experience science firsthand. Attractions include virtual tours of power plants through the ČEZ Energy World exhibition, the opportunity to step inside a forensic laboratory operated by the Czech Police Institute of Criminalistics, and displays featuring fascinating minerals, fossils, and geological discoveries.

The program will also include science shows, panel discussions, lectures, and workshops led by experts from a wide range of disciplines. Designed for children, students, and adults alike, the event aims to show that science can be both educational and entertaining.

Each year, Science Fair attracts tens of thousands of visitors and has grown into one of the most important educational and science communication events in the Czech Republic. Whether your interests lie in technology, medicine, history, space exploration, or natural sciences, the fair offers plenty of opportunities to learn something new and inspiring.
