Experience India

Now in its 7th year, the festival will once again bring the Indian community in the Czech Republic a unique event dedicated to Indian cuisine and culture.

Sample traditional dishes from various parts of India, including delicious Palak Paneer or Shahi Paneer, the perfectly balanced and spicy Chicken Tikka Masala, flavorful Tandoori dishes, and other gourmet specialties—all featuring a wide selection of both meat and vegetarian options.

Since India is also known for its tea, you can sample the very best at the festival. The lineup will also include excellent coffee from Indian plantations and the finest Indian foods.

In addition to the food stalls, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Indian culture—for example, by trying on a traditional sari and turban, adorning your forehead with a bindi, having traditional mehndi (henna) painted on your hand, or participating in various workshops on yoga, acupressure, or Ayurveda workshops, and if you find something you like, purchase Indian fashion or furniture.

The entire festival will be accompanied by a rich cultural program that will transport you straight to India.
