Riesling Rocks Prague

You can sample German Riesling in October without even leaving the country. From October 5 to 18, 2026, the Riesling Rocks Festival will bring together restaurants, wine shops, and wine bars throughout the Czech Republic, including a number of establishments in Prague.

Each participating establishment will offer its own selection. At some places, you’ll be able to order wine by the glass; at others, a tasting set of three to five samples or a wine-and-food pairing. The selection includes Rieslings from the Mosel, Rheingau, Palatinate, and Nahe regions.

It is precisely the differences between these individual regions that make this grape variety so interesting. German Riesling can range from dry to sweeter, and its flavor is influenced, among other things, by the soil and growing conditions.

In Prague, participating venues include The Eatery, Grand Cru, Les Moules, and Wine Shop & Bar Karlín. The festival is organized in collaboration with Wines of Germany. Prices and reservations, if applicable, are determined by the individual venues.
