Happiness has no weight

ELEFTHERÍA: happiness has no weight. Spazio Arte Tolomeo is pleased to present the collective contemporary art exhibition. “ELEFTHERÍA: happiness has no weight” that will be held at the large exhibition space located in Via Ampère 27 in Milan, Piola-Città Studi area, from 5 to 17 May 2022.

The word “ELEFTHERÍA”, which gives the title to the exhibition, means freedom in Greek, the same that would like to feel those who live their body as a prison. The exhibition addresses the issue of eating disorders, a black hole from which, however, you can decide to get out by starting to accept yourself. Often we do not realize the “weight” that words can have, when in fact every single sentence carries with it consequences, so the purpose of the exhibition is to bring people to reflect on these issues and love towards themselves.

The event will be organized in collaboration with the Association ERIKA, which will be donated part of the proceeds. ERIKA deals with helping people who suffer from eating disorders and their families, offering socio-educational activities and employment, theater and photography workshops and meetings in schools and companies.
