Sisters Festival Vienna

By women*, with women* – for everyone! The SISTERS FESTIVAL is a completely new format in the Austrian music landscape: Five national and international all female and female fronted acts will perform on July 7th in an open-air setting at the Arena Vienna. No more excuses for any promoters and festivals like: “We would have liked to have booked more women*, but we didn’t find any”: On July 12th at the arena the lineup will be ALL FEMALE. The SISTERS FESTIVAL ensures visibility on the stage, but also behind and around the stage: The local crew is also female and consists of SISTERS OF MUSIC members.

Female empowerment is always about the big picture: That’s why there are also opportunities for information about feminism and labor law as well as a photo exhibition about Austrian pioneers alongside the music of women*. Because Sisterhood always needs cooperation and networking.

The SISTERS TICKET:
In addition to the regular festival ticket, the SISTERS TICKET is also available in the ticket shop. Because without solidarity, everything is nothing: By purchasing a solidarity SISTERS TICKET, you enable a low-income woman* to visit the festival. The SISTERS TICKETS benefit the clients of the Viennese counseling center “WOMEN advise WOMEN”. #supportyoursisters
