CSOB Winter Series

The ČSOB Winter Series consists of four separate events and its mission is to prepare runners for the spring running weekend – the ČSOB Bratislava Marathon 2023.

Runners can take part in individual races or all four, in which case they also fight for the overall position in the series.

This year’s ČSOB winter series will be organized in CLASSICAL form (“live”) in different city districts of Bratislava (Eurovea, Petržalka, Dúbravka, Eurovea) and in VIRTUAL form (registered runners can run the distance of the chosen discipline anywhere within the specified time).

You can choose the classic or virtual version of the event.

1. Classic version

“St. Nicholas Edition” – 09.12.2023 – Eurovea (Old Town/Ružinov)
“Three Kings Edition” – 13.01.2024 – Draždiak Haus (Petržalka)
“Valentine’s Day Edition” – 10.02.2024 – Rock Cafe (Dúbravka)
“Midsummer edition” – 09.03.2024 – Eurovea (Old Town/Ružinov)

There is a choice of 5 km and 10 km disciplines, or Turbo TV children’s races (300, 600 or 800 m depending on age). We will start in the morning, we will start the children’s runs at 10:30, adults will go on the track at 11:00 or 11:05.

🏅 At the finish line, each competitor – adults and children – will receive a medal.

Entry fee: Adults: 17 euros/ 20 euros (adults) or 5 euros/ 7 euros (children)

2. Virtual version

Runners will run their event anywhere and anytime (Thursday – Sunday), GPX file from the run will be uploaded to the system by Monday after the deadline of the classic version. More information can be found in the propositions.

🏃 There are 5 km and 10 km disciplines to choose from. Children will run non-competitively 300, 600 or 800 m depending on age.

🏅 We will send a medal by post to each duly registered competitor. So please make sure to fill in the address correctly when filling in the entry form so that the medal reaches you 😊

Entry fee: 17 euros (adults) and 6 euros (children).

Please note! In case you want to fight for the best position in the series, you must run all races in the same form. We will evaluate the winners of the classic and the winners of the virtual series separately. For detailed information on how we will award the winners, please see the rules.
