Chanson evening of Eva Pavlíková

The Slovak actress and singer Eva Pavlíková will be accompanied by her band at the chanson concert, which will feature well-known chansons by local and international authors as well as musical melodies.

Eva Pavlíková takes the art of chanson singing with its emphasis on content as her own and thus fulfils the legacy of the director Jožek Bednárik to keep this musical genre alive and spread it further among the people.

The lyrics have been translated into Slovak by leading Slovak lyricists, which adds another new element of content and expression to their meaning.

Eva Pavlíková artistically enriches the musical-dramatic art of this genre with the actor’s testimony and the experience of a woman-artist, with an unrepeatable authentic performance.

Songs like: “Cherries”, “Life was worth it”, “Letter to Mom” and others will find their listeners and fill our hearts with tenderness, humility and love.

The concert will also feature the premiere of two original compositions on the lyrics of Ivan Krasko by Viliam Majer – “Nepozriem viac” and “Stará romanca”.
