Antonín Dvořák made his mark in the history of concert music with many works, but one has remained unjustly in the background – his concerto for Karel Slavkovský, who premiered the work in Prague in 1876. Now you have the opportunity to hear this work performed by the entire Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Daniel Raiskin as conductor and the outstanding pianist Lukáš Vondráček. On the programme is Dvořák’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in G minor, Op. 33 and Dmitri Shostakovich and his Symphony No. 7 in C major, Op. 60 Leningrad.
