SWAP books

Give your books a second chance and get new pieces for your library.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
You bring a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 7 books and take home the same number. During the last half hour of the swap (from 17:00 to 17:30) you can take as many books as you want.

WHAT BOOKS ARE APPROPRIATE TO BRING?
– Books that you would feel good about giving to a friend, family, etc.
– in good/excellent condition – undamaged, unwritten
– they can be in a foreign language
– children’s books

WHAT DOESN’T BELONG ON THE SWAP?
catalogues, manuals, university scripts, magazines, textbooks, brochures, etc. …

NOTICE:
Please choose the books you bring CAREFULLY. If the books you bring do not meet the requirements, we will have to reject them.
The books that remain after the SWAP will form the basis for the next SWAP + will go to the library.

The Summer Reading Room is open from 13 June to 31 August 2022, on weekdays from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Saturdays from 10.00 to 14.00.

Waiting for you:
60 titles of newspapers and magazines in Slovak and foreign languages.
Free lending of books at the Old Town Book Carousel. Books will be regularly replenished in the book house.
Pleasant relaxation in the shade of trees and a rich cultural programme.
The services are free of charge and admission to the events is free.
