QUASARS ENSEMBLE Helping Ukraine

The event entitled *LAMENTO / POMÁHAME UKRAJINE / QUASARS ENSEMBLE*, which was scheduled to take place on 1 April 2022, will be postponed to a new date on *12** April 2022* due to the anti-pandemic measures related to COVID-19. Only the date is being changed. The performers, programme, venue, time and admission fee remain unchanged.

We are not indifferent to the situation in Ukraine. That is why we express our full support and solidarity to the composers as well as to all the inhabitants of the hardly tested country. The four selected works from the pens of Ukrainian composers are a symbolic, silent lament in memory of the victims of this senseless war conflict. One of them, sadly, was the outstanding composer Hanna Havrylets (11 April 1958 – 27 February 2022), professor of composition at the P.I. Tchaikovsky Academy of Music in Kiev, who did not receive the necessary medical assistance in time during the first days of the invasion. All proceeds from the entrance fee will be donated to Man in Peril.

The event will include a presentation of Roman Berger’s new CD.
