Margó Literary Festival

Are you excited about this year’s Margo Festival? If so, we’ve got good news for you – you won’t have to wait long! True to the festival’s name, this year the organisers are waiting for you with better and better programmes!

Spring Margo Literary Festival 2024, 23-25 May, at one of the most exciting venues on Margaret Island, the Crystal Stage. In May, we’re back with a real Margo festival atmosphere at the Kristály Theatre on Margaret Island, where you can attend book signings of the most exciting new releases, musical literary evenings, concerts or even live recordings of your favourite podcasts.
The festival will host the Scientists, Miklós H. Vecsei and Gergely Balla (Platon Karataev) will present their József Attila evening “Tell me, Atikám” and Pion x Krizsó will present their album “Folk lyrics”. At the Spring Margo Literary Festival, new volumes will be presented by, among others, Virág Erdős, András Cserna-Szabó Cserna, János Háy, Gabriella Jakupcsek, Lili Kemény, Dénes Krusovszky, the Kovács Twins, Zsolt Láng, Elza Morcsányi, Éva Szentesi and Gábor Zoltán.

BOOK LAUNCHES

The Spring Margo is the venue for the presentation of new books by Virág Erdős, András Cserna-Szabó Cserna, János Háy, Gabriella Jakupcsek, Lili Kemény, Dénes Krusovszky, the Kovács Twins, Zsolt Láng, Elza Morcsányi, Éva Szentesi and Gábor Zoltán.

MUSICAL LITERARY EVENINGS

LIVE PODCAST RECORDINGS

This year, for the first time, visitors will be able to listen to their favourite cultural podcasts live, with Buksó (24.hu), Ma is tanultam etwas (Index), Nem rossz könyvek (444), Ezt senki nem sag sag!, Az első and Budapesti Nők (Könyves Magazin) and the Litera Podcast all recording their upcoming programmes live at the Spring Margo.
The books presented will be available for purchase on the spot and can also be signed by the author.
