The world’s first museum of light art opened this fall on the site of the former market on Hold street. The Light Art Museum, designed by Győző Czigler, exclusively exhibits works of art related to light, which visitors can also admire up close or even play with light themselves. The museum located in the Market Hall currently has 35 unique “objects”, including interactive light installations, holograms, animations and laser installations. The impressive artworks were made by local artists including works by world-famous László Moholy-Nagy, György Kepes and Victor Vasarely. The continuous music, optical games and colors play with your senses, thanks to which you can break away from reality and really feel part of the creations.
Tickets are available online on the LAM Budapest website and at the venue.
Opening hours: Every day 10:00-22:00
