Family Picnic Budapest

On May 11th, the Budafok Baptist Church will be hosting its third family picnic in the picturesque Kastélypark, offering a full day of relaxation and community experience for all ages. This is one of the friendliest outdoor events of the spring, where community members, friends, acquaintances and interested parties gather for an informal, fun day. The goal of the event is simple: to be together, recharge, play, chat, eat well and enjoy nature and the values ​​inherent in each other’s company.

The organizers are preparing a variety of programs during the picnic. There will be joint games for children and adults, team competitions, sports challenges, discussions and musical programs, as well as a large joint lunch, during which everyone can share the delicacies brought from home or taste the on-site catering. Under the green trees of the Castle Park, the little ones can run around freely, while the older ones can relax or immerse themselves in a conversation. The program is not only for members of the congregation – the organizers welcome everyone who would like to join an open, inclusive community, even for just a day.

The location is excellent for participants to spend an entire day outdoors. The calm, natural environment, the yard full of games and programs, and the good company ensure that everyone can return home refreshed and rich in experiences. The event does not require advance registration and everyone is welcome – whether it is families with young children, groups of friends, older visitors or those arriving alone.
