On May 19, Lupa Beach in Budapest will reopen. Admission to Lupa Beach is free for a week from the opening, but unfortunately due to the likely low water temperature, bathing is not yet available these days – but Lupa’s gastronomy, sports, children’s and family services are all available.
As Lake Lupa operates as an outdoor, natural water beach and sports center, as well as with only open-air catering facilities with terraces, it can be visited by anyone without a vaccination certificate, but the precautionary rules as hand sanitizing and such, must be still kept.
In addition to a variety of water and beach sports, beach volleyball, handball and football courts, an outdoor gym and teqball tables await beachgoers. From the beginning of May, the wakeboard track is open and you can rent SUPs, surf, sail, paddle and even dive.
