A unique experience awaits you at Bratislava Castle. Visit the Marie Antoinette exhibition. The splendor and magnificence of Versailles will come to Bratislava. You will be able to see costumes, wigs, paintings, furniture and other art objects on loan from the Palace of Versailles.

You will also be able to see excerpts from films that will bring you closer to the life of this monarch, from her childhood at the imperial Schönbrunn Palace, through the luxurious life of the French monarch in Versailles to her death on the gallows.

Maria Antoinette was born in Vienna to the Austrian Archduchess, Hungarian and Bohemian Queen Maria Theresa, whose official residence in the Kingdom of Hungary was Bratislava Castle.

The latest exhibition about one of the most interesting lives in European history – the dramatic story of Marie Antoinette, who, thanks to the marriage policy of her mother Maria Theresa, became the most famous French queen.

Marie Antoinette was an absolute fashion icon of her time and still serves as an inspiration to some fashion designers. Accept our invitation and come and enjoy a piece of the luxury and magnificence of Versailles at Bratislava Castle.
