Wondering where to take your children this weekend? Take them to the largest gathering of historic trains in Slovakia this weekend, June 14 and 15, 2025.
The month of June at the Railway Museum of the Slovak Republic is in the spirit of the biggest event of railway nostalgia in Slovakia – the All-Slovakia Reunion of Historical Railway Vehicles, which the public knows better under the name Rendez. The 25th year of this event – Rendez 2025 – will take place on 14 and 15 June 2025 in the area of the old Bratislava East locomotive depot on Rušňova Street in the Bratislava-Rača district.

– commented parade of historical vehicles on the turntable – only on Saturday from 12:30
– competition of skills of steam locomotive crews – only on Sunday from 12:30
– sightseeing ride on a steam train along the Bratislava connections (only on Saturday)
– electric retro train to Leopoldov (only on Saturday)
– excursion ride on a steam train to Trnava (only on Sunday)
– carpooling at the steam locomotive station (on Saturday with a break from approx. 12:00 to 14:00 for the presentation on the turntable, on Sunday with a break from approx. 12:00 to 13:30 for the steam locomotive competition)
– presentation of the OZ Vláčikovo model railway in the large waterworks
– presentation of model and modular railways (Klub Modrý Horizont, KŽM Vrútky, KŽM Bratislava) in a locomotive draw
– concert of the C. and k. chamber brass orchestra – on Saturday from 11:30
– concert of the women’s vocal-instrumental trio Paper Moon Trio – on Saturday from 14:30
– country performance by singer and lyricist Ivan Terry Zeman from 11:30
– swing concert by Funny Fellows – on Sunday from 14:30
– functional presentation of the control device and display board of the Pragotron system in the large waterworks
– exhibition of rescue equipment, demonstrations of the activities of rescue services
– sale of souvenirs and refreshments
– transport of visitors to the exhibition area by shuttle train
– evening photography – only on Saturday from 20:00 to 21:30 (without arranging and artificial lighting of vehicles)

The event is organised by Slovak Railways in cooperation with Cargo Slovakia, a.s., Slovak Railways, a.s., Slovak clubs of historic railway vehicles – the Bratislava Railway History Friends Club, the Bratislava East Railway Nostalgia Club, the VLAKY. NET, the Transport Nostalgia Civic Association, the Albatrosklub Bratislava, the Prievidza Steam Engine Association, the Považská Dráha Žilina Society, the Výhrevne Vrútky Association, the Vrútky Railway Modelers Club, the Historical Technology Club at the Zvolen Locomotive Depot, Poprad Historical Railway Vehicles Club, Haniska pri Košiciach Locomotive Depot Historical Railway Vehicles Club, Košice Children’s Railway, and with the support of a number of sponsors.
